HOW THIS WORKS
What it does
This tool calculates your estimated daily calorie and macro targets for BJJ — for both training days and rest days. It uses your bodyweight, activity level, and training frequency to give you a starting point that's specific to you, not a generic one-size-fits-all number.
How to use it
- Enter your age, weight, height, and activity level
- Select Training Day to get targets optimized for days you're on the mat
- Select Rest Day and your occupation to get reduced targets for days you're not training — your body needs less fuel when it's not doing BJJ
- Click View Full Nutrition Plan to see your targets and what coaching clients get access to
Why training day vs. rest day?
BJJ is a high-intensity sport that runs primarily on carbohydrates. On training days, your carb target is higher to fuel performance and support recovery. On rest days, carbs drop — you're not burning through glycogen, so you don't need to reload it. Protein and fat stay consistent either way.
